Comes with a grounded plug or plug (TYPE B or grounded American plug, NEMA 5-15P) or with an ungrounded plug or plug (TYPE A, or ungrounded American plug, NEMA 1-15P) )- In this last option, a grounding cable allows you to connect the grounding terminal of the outlet.

The outlet of the protector has a type B outlet, NEMA 5-15R, which allows connecting type A or B plugs or plugs.

The plug allows it to be connected directly to the wall outlet, without occupying the two positions of a double outlet.
